Semi-Analytical Modeling of Electromagnetic Performances in Magnet Segmented Spoke-Type Permanent Magnet Machine Considering Infinite and Finite Soft-Magnetic Material Permeability
In this paper, we present a semi-analytical model for determining the magnetic and electromagnetic characteristics of spoke-type permanent magnet (STPM) machine considering magnet segmentation and finite soft-material relative permeability. The proposed model is based on the resolution of the Laplace’s and Poisson’s equations in a Cartesian pseudo-coordinate system with respect to the relative ...
متن کاملApplication of multiresolution analysis to the modeling of microwave and optical structures
A review of wavelet based techniques for the modeling of electromagnetic and optical structures is provided in this paper. Fundamental theoretical aspects of Multiresolution Analysis are mentioned along with mathematical properties of wavelet bases that lead to the construction of highly ecient numerical schemes and fast algorithms. Applications of such schemes in the ®eld of time and frequenc...
متن کاملSergey V . Kochetov Time - and frequency - domain modeling of passive interconnection structures in field and circuit analysis
ISBN 978-3-940961-27-3 The present-day electronic technologies require transmission of high-frequency signals via the different types of passive interconnection structures. Since the rise and fall times of signal waveforms may amount to tens of picoseconds, the parasitic effects of the passive interconnections may cause a number of phenomena, which are significant for both the development of el...
متن کاملElectrical and electromagnetic properties of isolated carbon nanotubes and carbon nanotube-based composites
Isolated carbon nanotubes (CNTs), CNT films and CNT-polymer nanocomposites are a new generation of materials with outstanding mechanical, thermal, electrical and electromagnetic properties. The main objective of this article is to provide a comprehensive review on the investigations performed in the field of characterizing electrical and electromagnetic properties of isolated CNTs and CNT-reinf...
متن کاملA Computer Modeling of Mie-Scattering by Spherical Droplets Within the Atmosphere
The Earth’s atmosphere is an environment replete with particles of differ-ent sizes with various refractive indices which affect the light radiation traveling through it. The Mie scattering theory is one of the well-known light scattering techniques ap-plicable to modeling of electromagnetic scattering from tiny atmospheric particles or aerosols floating in the air or within the clouds. In this...
